What this document is
This paper replaces the exams: completing Technical Intern Training (ii) properly (roughly 2 years 10 months or more, no absconding, no violations) waives the Japanese requirement — and if your trade matches the Tokutei field, the skills exam as well. This document is the proof of that “successful completion”.
What it must show
- ① The evaluation record — form 参考様式第1-2号, signed by the supervising organisation or the training company
- or ② the Grade 3 trade-skills test certificate, PRACTICAL part
- or ③ a written statement on the training record
- The training period must be long enough (completing level ii ≈ 2 years 10 months or more)
- The trade (職種) and task (作業) on the paper must match item 20 you filled at the 📜 station
Where to get it
Request it from your supervising organisation (監理団体) or your former training company. The Grade 3 certificate is issued by the prefectural vocational-ability development association — ask them for a reissue if lost.
How to get it
- Message the supervising organisation: “Please issue the evaluation record (form 1-2) for my move to Tokutei.”
- Already hold the Grade 3 certificate? Just photograph it — no request needed
- Capture all four corners: your name, trade, issue date and seal must be readable
- If they refuse, explain it is a document Immigration requires; still refused → contact the law office in the app
Notes
⚠️ “Successful completion” is not the same as “I did some training”. Absconding, an interrupted contract, or not finishing level ii means NO waiver — you then take the exam route.
