What this document is
A birth certificate proving the relationship between the child and the parent (breadwinner), with a Japanese translation if it's a Vietnamese document.
What it must show
- A birth certificate (Vietnam) or birth-registration acceptance certificate (Japan)
- With a Japanese translation if needed
Where to get it
Vietnam: the commune/ward People's Committee. Japan: the city hall.
How to get it
- Request the birth certificate / birth-registration acceptance certificate
- Translate into Japanese + write the translator
Notes
A child of someone who ALREADY has permanent residence is usually reviewed under much lighter criteria.
