What this document is
A one-page letter to Immigration: the baby was born in Japan, both parents hold SSW (i), asking for the baby to stay with the parents under the humanitarian exception Immigration itself describes (Q9), with a period matching your card.
What it must show
- Opening: who the baby is, date and place of birth
- 1 · Both parents' status, card expiry, employer, income
- 2 · Who the baby lives with and who cares for the baby
- 3 · Plan to move to SSW (ii) (exam applied for) and a promise to change the baby to Dependent then
- 4 · Request for humanitarian consideration under Q9 + a period matching your card
- Print it; BOTH parents sign by hand
Notes
⛔ Don't write what isn't certain: "will move to SSW (ii)" (it also needs field experience), "will surely get one year". On the form, the app ticks 「その他（特定活動）」 for the desired status.
