What this document is
The skills requirement for moving up to Specified Skilled Worker (ii). For manufacturing, Immigration checks two halves: trade skill (Grade 1 test or the No.2 evaluation exam) AND production-management ability. This station covers the SKILL half.
What it must show
- Grade 1 trade-skills certificate OR the No.2 evaluation exam certificate
- Matching the field you actually work in
- A clear copy showing your name + issue date
Where to get it
Issued by the field's examining body. If you lost the original, request a reissue from that body.
How to get it
- Photograph/scan the original, flat, all four corners visible
- Check the name matches your passport
- Not taken it yet? Ask your company about the next exam date
Notes
Some fields (e.g. construction) additionally require experience in a supervisory role — check with your company first.
