What this document is
Immigration wants proof that someone doing language-based customer work really has the level (CEFR B2 ≈ JLPT N2).
What it must show
- ONE of the following is enough:
- ① JLPT N2 or above
- ② BJT Business Japanese Test 400 points or more
- ③ Graduation from a Japanese university / KOSEN / senmon course
- ④ Completed Japanese junior high + high school
- ⑤ 20+ years of residence in Japan
Where to get it
Documents you already hold (language certificate, diploma). Lost your JLPT certificate → request a reissue from JEES.
