What this document is
The dispatch agency pledges four things to Immigration: ① nothing declared is false · ② it has explained to YOU and to the HOST COMPANY what Engineer status allows you to do · ③ it will cooperate when Immigration asks for extra documents, calls you in for questioning or carries out an on-site inspection — and the host company agrees to the same · ④ it will do all of this again whenever the host company changes.
What it must show
- Immigration's reference form (参考様式), headed 「所属機関（派遣元）用」
- YOUR NAME in the 申請人氏名 field and the status applied for (技術・人文知識・国際業務)
- Date · company name · representative's name · name of the person in charge
- Signature + company seal (社印)
Where to get it
The HR department of the dispatch agency (派遣元) — where you signed your employment contract and get paid. The quickest way is to download the form and hand it to them.
Notes
This is mandatory under [Immigration's new notice](https://www.moj.go.jp/isa/content/001457164.pdf). Without it the application does not meet the requirements.
