What this document is
A letter from the supervising organization (kanri-dantai) or the implementing company (jisshu-jisshisha) consenting to you stopping the Technical Intern Training and moving to Dependent status. Immigration asks for it because leaving training midway is reviewed carefully.
What it must show
- States your name + current Technical Intern status
- Content CONSENTING to stopping the training / changing status
- Bears the name and seal of the supervising org / company
Where to get it
Request it from the supervising organization managing you, or the company where you train.
How to get it
- Discuss your wish to change status with the org / company
- Ask them to issue a consent / confirmation letter
- Receive the letter signed + sealed

Usually free (depends on the organization).
